Protect yourself from identity theft by regularly checking your account activity.  Your personal information can be obtained by phishing, spoofing, or from trash that you have thrown away.

Make certain that you shred all personal information before you throw it away.

Be cautious of any unexpected emails asking for personal information.

Banking Online Safely

Never save your password to your desktop.  It allows others to access your personal information without your permission.

Change your password every 60 days and avoid using passwords that are personal such as your date of birth or address. 





Get Your Credit Report

Review your credit report once a year. You can receive a free report from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.

Always check for any errors in your report and get them corrected immediately

eStatements
eStatements is a convenient way for you to view your checking or savings statements from any computer.  You are able to view the past six months, starting at the time of enrollment.  You can also save the statement to your computer to keep them longer than three months or even print a copy if needed. 

When your eStatement is ready, you will receive an email letting you know that it is available to be viewed.

Banking Terms

AVERAGE DAILY BALANCE  The average amount that exists in an account over a period of time.  The number is calculated by adding the daily balances over a period of time and dividing by the total number of days in that period.

CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT (CD)   A deposit account where the account holder has agreed to keep the money in the account for a specified amount of time, anywhere from three (3) months to five (5) years.
