A new government regulation may impact the way you use your debit card.  As of August 15, 2010 you have the option to access your Bounce Protection limit on your everyday debit card purchases and ATM transactions.  This means if you use your debit card or ATM card and there is not enough money in your account to complete the transaction you will be able to access your Bounce Protection limit.  If you want to take advantage of this service in case of emergencies, you will need to specifically request that your Bounce Protection be available to use with your debit or ATM card.
